$1 Billion in Tax Rebates to Start Hitting Minnesota Bank Accounts This Week
Payments Will Be Processed in Two Phases
Phase One
The first phase of payments will be sent to taxpayers who filed their 2022 taxes by April 15. These payments will be issued via direct deposit starting this week. Those who did not file by April 15 or who did not provide a direct deposit account, will receive a paper check in the mail.
Phase Two
The second phase of payments will be sent to taxpayers who file their 2022 taxes after April 15. These payments will be issued in late summer or early fall. If you have not yet filed your taxes, you should still file as soon as possible to receive your rebate.
