The Cardinals finally got on the board in the 9th inning when Nolan Gorman hit a solo home run. However, Devin Williams came on in relief and got the final 3 outs to earn the save.

With the win, the Brewers improved to 60-53 on the season. They are now 2.5 games behind the first-place Chicago Cubs in the NL Central.
